You can simulate the entire postseason and crown your predicted Super Bowl champion at Levi’s Stadium on February 8, 2026.
How do I use the NFL Playoffs Predictor?
Click on the team you think will win each playoff game. Start with the Wild Card Round, and the tool automatically generates the next round’s matchups based on NFL seeding rules. Continue picking winners through the Divisional Round, Conference Championships, and Super Bowl LX. The bracket updates instantly as you make your selections. Change any pick anytime to test different playoff scenarios.
How many teams are in the NFL playoffs?
There are 14 playoff teams total — seven from the AFC and seven from the NFC. Each conference includes four division winners (seeds 1-4) and three wild card teams (seeds 5-7). The number one seeds in each conference (Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks) receive first-round byes and automatically advance to the Divisional Round.
What is the playoff bracket format?
The playoffs have four rounds:
- Wild Card Round (6 games): Seeds 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, and 4 vs 5 in each conference
- Divisional Round (4 games): Wild Card winners face the top seeds
- Conference Championships (2 games): AFC and NFC title games
- Super Bowl LX (1 game): AFC Champion vs NFC Champion at Levi’s Stadium
Home field advantage goes to the higher seed throughout the playoffs.
Can I simulate different playoff outcomes?
Yes! That’s the best feature of the Playoffs Predictor. Test unlimited scenarios by changing your picks at any round. See how an underdog run affects the bracket or predict which matchups could happen in the Super Bowl. Reset and start over anytime to explore different championship paths.
Does the predictor work on mobile devices?
Yes. The NFL Playoffs Predictor works perfectly on phones, tablets, and desktop computers. The responsive design automatically adjusts to your screen size. Make picks, advance teams through rounds, and predict your Super Bowl champion on any device.
Will my predictions save if I close the page?
No. The tool does not save your bracket predictions when you close the page. To keep your picks, take a screenshot of your completed bracket or use the “Show Championship Path” button to view all your selections before leaving.
How does home field advantage work in the playoffs?
Home field advantage is determined by playoff seeding. The higher-seeded team hosts each game through the Conference Championships. In the Super Bowl, the game is played at a neutral site (Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California) regardless of which teams advance.
Can I share my playoff predictions?
Yes. After completing your bracket, click the “Show Championship Path” button to see all your picks organized by round. You can screenshot this summary to share on social media or with friends. Compare predictions and see whose bracket comes closest to the actual results!
What teams have first-round byes?
The AFC #1 seed Denver Broncos (14-3) and NFC #1 seed Seattle Seahawks (14-3) both have first-round byes. They automatically advance to the Divisional Round and will play the lowest-remaining seed from the Wild Card Round winners.
When does Super Bowl LX take place?
Super Bowl LX is scheduled for Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Use the predictor to simulate which two teams will meet for the championship and pick your Super Bowl LX champion!
