NFL Plus is the NFL’s official streaming service, and for the 2026 season it costs $6.99 a month for the standard plan or $14.99 a month for NFL+ Premium. The standard tier streams live local and primetime games on phones and tablets, plus NFL Network and live game audio. Premium adds NFL RedZone, full and All-22 game replays, and the NFL Pro analytics platform.

What Is NFL Plus?
NFL Plus is a paid subscription run by the National Football League itself, available in the United States only. You watch through the NFL app or on nfl.com. Every subscription includes:
- Live local and primetime regular season and postseason games on phones and tablets
- Live out-of-market preseason games across supported devices
- NFL Network live, 24 hours a day
- Live game audio (home, away and national calls) for every game
- NFL Films library, ad-free highlights and on-demand programming
- NFL Fantasy+
There are two tiers: NFL+ and NFL+ Premium. The base plan is built around mobile viewing. Premium layers on RedZone, replays, coaches film and advanced stats across more devices.

Live offer (ends 9/21/26): the NFL is running 20% off the NFL+ Premium annual plan ahead of kickoff, which brings it to roughly $79.99 for the season instead of $99.99. Annual billing is the cheaper route either way: $49.99 a year works out to about $4.17 a month versus $6.99 monthly.

What NFL Plus Premium Adds
Premium is the upgrade for people who want Sunday afternoon coverage and film study, not just the mobile feed.

- Full game replays: available on any supported device once the game ends
- Condensed replays: the whole game in roughly 30 to 45 minutes
- All-22 coaches film: the wide and end zone angles that show all 22 players on every snap

One thing Premium does not change: live local and primetime games are still phone and tablet only. Premium widens your on-demand access, not your live TV access.
NFL Plus Bundles With ESPN, Disney+ and Hulu
NFL+ Premium can now be added to an eligible ESPN Unlimited plan, which is the cheapest way to pair RedZone with a full sports service.

ESPN Unlimited on its own is $29.99 a month or $299.99 a year, so NFL+ Premium effectively costs $10 extra inside a bundle instead of $14.99 standalone. You still watch NFL+ content in the NFL app; the bundle only handles billing and eligibility. Promotional first-year rates appear from time to time, so check the Disney+ and ESPN sign-up pages before you commit.

Casting: NFL+ supports casting for some content, but live local and primetime regular season and postseason games cannot be cast or mirrored to a television. AirPlay and Google Cast will not work for those games.
Simultaneous streams: three concurrent streams are allowed on both NFL+ and NFL+ Premium. A handful of out-of-market preseason games are also restricted to mobile.

How to Sign In and Cancel NFL Plus

- Tap Sign In and enter your NFL.com credentials
- Use the same NFL.com account you bought the subscription with, and access carries across every supported device
- If you subscribed through Apple or Google, confirm your NFL.com email matches your app store account

NFL Plus auto renews until you cancel, and you must cancel wherever you originally paid.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so you keep access until then. Refunds are limited to duplicate purchases and ongoing technical faults.
NFL Plus Discounts, Coupons and Student Deals
The NFL discounts NFL Plus a few times a year rather than running permanent sales. Watch for offers around kickoff week, Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and the playoffs. Right now the 20% off annual offer on NFL+ Premium runs through 9/21/26.

Military and first responder: the NFL offers verified discounts through ID.me. Verify at the NFL store on ID.me, copy the promo code it issues, then apply it with Redeem Coupon at NFL+ checkout. Codes are reissued each season, so an old one will not work.
Students: there is still no official NFL Plus student rate, and the league does not partner with UNiDAYS or Student Beans. The student deal in football streaming belongs to NFL Sunday Ticket, which YouTube prices at $119 for the season for verified students, with a RedZone version available at checkout.
Standard Sunday Ticket runs $240 for the season for new subscribers, so the student rate is a genuine saving if you qualify.
Is NFL Plus Worth It in 2026?
It depends entirely on how you watch. At $6.99 a month, the base plan is cheap insurance for anyone who follows their local team on a phone, commutes during games, or wants NFL Network without a cable bill. It is not a replacement for a TV package, because nothing plays live on a big screen.
Pick NFL+ if you: watch mostly on mobile, want live game audio for every matchup, or follow preseason closely.
Pick NFL+ Premium if you: want RedZone on Sundays, rewatch games, study All-22 film, or play fantasy and want NFL Pro’s Next Gen Stats.
Skip both if you: mainly want out-of-market Sunday games on a television. That is Sunday Ticket territory, not NFL Plus.

How much does NFL Plus cost in 2026?
NFL+ costs $6.99 per month or $49.99 per year. NFL+ Premium costs $14.99 per month or $99.99 per year. The NFL is running 20% off the NFL+ Premium annual plan through 9/21/26, which puts it at roughly $79.99 for the season. Taxes are extra, and app store purchases can carry additional fees.
Does NFL Plus have a free trial?
No. NFL Plus does not advertise a standing free trial for the 2026 season. The league uses discounts instead, such as the current 20% off annual offer, plus seasonal promo codes and verified military and first responder pricing through ID.me.
Can I watch playoff games and the Super Bowl on NFL Plus?
Yes, but only on a phone or tablet. Live postseason games, including Super Bowl LXI on Feb. 14, 2027 at SoFi Stadium, stream on mobile only. Televisions, laptops and consoles do not carry the live feed. You can listen to live audio anywhere, and NFL+ Premium subscribers can watch the full replay on any supported device afterward.
Can I watch out-of-market regular season games on NFL Plus?
No. NFL Plus carries live local and primetime games plus out-of-market preseason games. Out-of-market regular season Sunday afternoon games require NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube or YouTube TV.
Does NFL Plus work on a smart TV?
Partly. NFL Network, out-of-market preseason games, NFL RedZone and game replays all work on Apple TV, Fire TV, Roku, Android TV, Google TV, Xbox and Samsung, LG and Vizio smart TVs. Live local and primetime games do not, and that restriction applies to every tier.
Can I cast NFL Plus to my TV?
Some content casts, but live local and primetime regular season and postseason games cannot be cast or mirrored to a television. AirPlay and Google Cast are blocked for those games, so use a supported TV app for RedZone and replays instead.
How many devices can stream NFL Plus at the same time?
Three concurrent streams are allowed on both NFL+ and NFL+ Premium. You can sign in on as many supported devices as you like using the same NFL.com account, as long as no more than three play at once.
Can I use NFL Plus outside the United States?
No. NFL Plus is a United States only service and a VPN will not reliably unlock it. Fans abroad should use NFL Game Pass International on DAZN, which holds the international rights under a long term deal with the NFL and carries every regular season and playoff game live.

How do I cancel NFL Plus?
Cancel wherever you subscribed. On NFL.com, go to nfl.com/account, open Manage Subscriptions, select Manage Subscription next to NFL+ and click Cancel. If you paid through Apple, Google Play, Roku, Amazon, ESPN or Disney+, cancel in that account’s subscription settings. Access runs to the end of your current billing period.
Is NFL Plus included with YouTube TV, Hulu or cable?
No. NFL Plus is not bundled into YouTube TV, Sling or a cable package. The only bundles are through ESPN Unlimited at $39.99 a month with NFL+ Premium, or the Disney+, Hulu and ESPN Unlimited packages at $45.99 with ads and $54.99 without.
Can I download NFL Plus games to watch offline?
No. NFL Plus has no offline download option. Every live game, replay and on-demand clip requires an internet connection.
Is NFL Plus the same as NFL Sunday Ticket?
No, they are separate products. NFL Plus is the league’s own app based service for local and primetime games on mobile, RedZone and replays. NFL Sunday Ticket is a YouTube product that carries out-of-market Sunday afternoon games on any screen, and at $240 for the season it costs considerably more.
NFL Plus remains the cheapest official way to stream live NFL football, as long as you accept the mobile only rule for live local and primetime games.
Take the $6.99 plan if a phone is your main screen, or step up to NFL+ Premium at $14.99 for RedZone, All-22 coaches film and NFL Pro, ideally on the discounted annual plan before the 20% offer ends on 9/21/26.
If out-of-market Sunday games on a television are what you actually want, NFL Sunday Ticket is the product to buy instead.
