NFL Sunday Ticket 2026: YouTube TV Pricing, Plans, and How to Watch Every Out-of-Market Game

NFL Sunday Ticket 2026 is back on YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channels, and the price you pay depends entirely on whether you have bought it before. New subscribers start at $240 for the season. Returning subscribers pay $378 bundled with YouTube TV or $480 standalone. Students, military members and YouTube Premium subscribers pay far less.

The package covers every out-of-market Sunday afternoon game that your local CBS or FOX station does not carry. If you live in Miami and follow the Cowboys, this is how you see those Sunday games. No dish, no cable box, no contract.

The 2026 regular season opens Wednesday, September 9, and runs through January 10, 2027. Below is the full price list, what each plan includes, what it leaves out, and the fastest way to sign up for the lowest price you qualify for.

What Changed for the 2026 Season

Four things are worth knowing before you buy.

  • New and returning prices split sharply. Standalone Sunday Ticket now costs $240 for first time buyers and $480 for anyone who has subscribed before. That is a $240 gap for the same games.
  • YouTube Premium subscribers get the cheapest public deal. $186 for the season if you have never bought Sunday Ticket. Premium Lite accounts do not qualify.
  • A cheaper live TV path exists. The YouTube TV Sports Plan runs $64.99 per month instead of $82.99 and still carries your local CBS and FOX stations.
  • Season dates. Week 1 starts Wednesday, September 9, 2026. The first full Sunday Ticket slate lands Sunday, September 13. The 2026 season ends January 10, 2027, with Super Bowl LXI at SoFi Stadium on February 14.

NFL Sunday Ticket 2026 Pricing on YouTube TV

You buy Sunday Ticket one of two ways: as an add-on to a YouTube TV plan, or standalone through YouTube Primetime Channels. Both deliver the same out-of-market games.

New User Price: $240

If you have never purchased Sunday Ticket through YouTube or YouTube TV, you pay $240 for the season, or 12 non-cancelable payments of $20. That price applies to both the bundle and the standalone version.

The bundle still requires an active YouTube TV plan on top. The main plan is $82.99 per month, discounted to $67.99 for your first three months as a new YouTube TV member.

Returning User Price: $378 or $480

Any prior Sunday Ticket purchase makes you a returning user, including one that came through a YouTube TV bundle. Returning pricing for 2026:

  • Bundled with YouTube TV: $378 for the season, or $31.50 per month for 12 months
  • Standalone on YouTube: $480 for the season, or $40 per month for 12 months

If you are a returning subscriber, check the ID.me offer below first. It beats both of these prices and existing subscribers qualify.

Discount Plans: Student, Military and Premium

Student Plan, $119. Open to enrolled college students over 18. You verify through SheerID, and a .edu address is not required. It gives you one stream on any device, with multiview and key plays included. There is no installment option and it does not auto-renew.

ID.me Plan, $198. Available to U.S. military members, veterans, first responders, medical professionals and teachers. This is the strongest offer in 2026 because both new and existing subscribers qualify. You can pay in full or in installments and add NFL RedZone at checkout. Redeemable through December 31, 2026.

YouTube Premium Plan, $186. Reserved for paying YouTube Premium subscribers who are new to Sunday Ticket. Works with the bundle or standalone. Premium Lite is excluded, and the window closes August 26, 2026.

Two rules apply to every plan. Sunday Ticket is non-cancelable and non-refundable once the season starts, and it auto-renews at full price for the next season unless you turn that off. Installment payments are unavailable in Colorado, Maine, Utah, Wisconsin and U.S. territories.

What Is Included and What Is Not

Included: every out-of-market Sunday afternoon regular season game across all 32 teams, in both conferences.

Not included: games shown on your local CBS or FOX station, Sunday Night Football on NBC, Monday Night Football on ESPN, Thursday night games, digital-only streaming exclusives, and the playoffs. A YouTube TV plan covers most of those gaps.

Three features come with every plan:

  • Multiview: up to four live games on one screen
  • Fantasy View: live fantasy points and player stats without a second app
  • Key Plays: jump straight to touchdowns, turnovers and scoring drives

NFL RedZone is separate. Add it at checkout with your Sunday Ticket package, or add NFL RedZone with Sports Plus to an existing YouTube TV plan for $10.99 per month. NFL RedZone runs seven hours of whip-around coverage and can show up to eight games at once.

Bundle vs Standalone: Which Fits You

The games are identical. The difference is everything around them.

  • Pick the bundle if you have no live TV service. YouTube TV adds 100+ channels, your local CBS and FOX games, Sunday and Monday night football, the playoffs, unlimited DVR and six household accounts.
  • Pick standalone if you already pay for cable, an antenna or another streaming service that carries your locals. For new buyers both cost $240, so standalone is the clear saver. For returning buyers standalone costs $102 more, which makes the bundle math worth a second look.

Supported Devices and Stream Limits

Sunday Ticket streams through the YouTube or YouTube TV app. No dish, no receiver. You need at least 3 Mbps, and 7 Mbps or more for reliable HD.

Game ConsolesPlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S

Stream limits: unlimited simultaneous streams inside your home, plus two more for household members on the go. The Student Plan is capped at one stream. You can share access with up to five other people through a Google family group at no extra cost.

Bars, restaurants and other businesses cannot use a residential subscription. Commercial rights come from Everpass Media instead.

How to Watch NFL Sunday Ticket 2026 in Four Steps

  1. Check your discount first. Verify through ID.me or SheerID, or confirm your YouTube Premium status, before you reach checkout. Discounts cannot be applied afterward.
  2. Choose bundle or standalone. Bundle through tv.youtube.com. Standalone runs through YouTube Primetime Channels in the regular YouTube app.
  3. Sign up on the web, not in an app. Buying inside an iOS or Android app can add store fees and hides the installment option.
  4. Sign in on your TV. Open the YouTube or YouTube TV app on your device, sign in with the same Google account, and Sunday Ticket appears in your library.

How to Pay Less This Season

  • Verify through ID.me if you serve or teach. The $198 rate applies whether you are new or returning.
  • Already pay for YouTube Premium and new to Sunday Ticket? Take the $186 offer before it expires.
  • Students should take the $119 plan and skip everything else.
  • Use the YouTube TV Sports Plan at $64.99 per month instead of the $82.99 main plan if you only care about live games and locals.
  • Skip RedZone unless you truly follow multiple games. That is $10.99 per month back in your pocket.
  • Turn off auto-renew as soon as you buy so you are not charged full price next season.

Sunday Ticket vs Other NFL Streaming Options

  • Sunday Ticket + YouTube TV is the only combination that covers out-of-market, local and national games in one app.
  • NFL+ is cheaper but limits live local and primetime games to phones and tablets. It carries no out-of-market coverage.
  • Hulu + Live TV, Fubo and Sling carry local and national NFL broadcasts, but none of them sell Sunday Ticket.
  • An antenna gets your local CBS, FOX and NBC games free. Pair it with standalone Sunday Ticket for the cheapest full Sunday setup.

Is NFL Sunday Ticket 2026 Worth It?

NFL Sunday Ticket 2026 earns its price if you follow a team outside your local market or play fantasy football seriously. At $240 for new subscribers, that works out to roughly $13 per Sunday across the regular season. At $480 for returning standalone subscribers, the value gets harder to defend unless you qualify for the ID.me rate.

Check which discount you qualify for, buy on the web, and turn off auto-renew the same day. Then set up multiview and enjoy the season.
