Thanksgiving Day Tripleheader: Matchups and TV Channels
Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions, 1:00 PM ET on CBS
Detroit hosts its 87th Thanksgiving Day Classic, and for the fourth straight season the opponent is an NFC North rival. This is the 21st Thanksgiving meeting between the Bears and Lions, the second most played holiday matchup in NFL history behind Lions versus Packers. Chicago leads that series 11-9.
The Bears arrive off a breakthrough 2025 that delivered their first division title since 2018 and first playoff win since 2010. Detroit is 38-46-2 all time on Thanksgiving and has lost eight of its last nine holiday games.
CBS carries the game nationally with Jim Nantz leading the booth. Stream it on Paramount+, or on NFL+ from a phone or tablet. Our full NFL on CBS schedule lists every other CBS window this season.
Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys, 4:30 PM ET on FOX
Dallas plays its 59th Thanksgiving game and is still chasing a first holiday win over Philadelphia. The Eagles took both previous meetings: 27-0 in the 1989 Bounty Bowl and 33-10 in 2014.
The Cowboys ride a four game Thanksgiving winning streak into this one and own a 35-22-1 all time holiday record, the best winning percentage of any team with a long Thanksgiving history.
FOX has the broadcast with Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady on its lead crew, plus the annual Salvation Army Red Kettle Kickoff at halftime. The 2026 halftime performer has not been announced yet.
Stream the game on FOX One or NFL+.
Kansas City Chiefs at Buffalo Bills, 8:20 PM ET on NBC
Buffalo hosts a Thanksgiving game for the first time in franchise history. The venue is the new Highmark Stadium, a 2.1 billion dollar open air home with 60,108 seats and a canopy covering 64 percent of the bowl, completed in June 2026.
Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen have split their 10 career meetings 5-5, six of them decided by one score. The Bills are 6-4-1 on Thanksgiving with all 11 previous appearances on the road, while Kansas City sits at 5-6.
NBC has the prime time window with Mike Tirico, Cris Collinsworth and Melissa Stark. Stream it on Peacock, or listen to the Spanish language call on Telemundo. The rest of Buffalo’s season is in our Buffalo Bills schedule guide.
Thanksgiving Eve 2026: Packers at Rams on Netflix
The NFL opens a brand new window in 2026. Green Bay visits Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium on Wednesday, November 25 at 8:00 PM ET in the first Thanksgiving Eve game in league history, and the first November Wednesday game of the Super Bowl era.
Netflix streams it nationally, and it also airs on free local television in the Green Bay, Milwaukee and Los Angeles markets. Every Netflix plan includes the game, the ad supported tier at 8.99 dollars a month included, so no upgrade is required. Both the Packers and Rams took their bye in Week 11 to make the short week workable.
Netflix also has the NFL Christmas games later in the season.
Black Friday Football 2026: Broncos at Steelers
Prime Video closes the holiday week with Denver at Pittsburgh on Friday, November 27 at 3:00 PM ET. It is the fourth Black Friday game since Amazon launched the window in 2023, and Pittsburgh’s first Friday game since September 20, 1946, when the Steelers beat the Chicago Cardinals 14-7.
You need an Amazon Prime membership or a standalone Prime Video subscription. The game also streams on Twitch and airs on free local television in the Pittsburgh and Denver markets. Full details are in our NFL on Amazon Prime Video schedule.

Things worth knowing before you subscribe:
- Fubo and Hulu + Live TV now share a parent company after the Disney deal closed in October 2025, but they remain separate apps with separate pricing. Fubo restored NBC in June 2026 after a seven month blackout, then announced a 15 dollar a month price rise in July. A regional sports fee of up to $16.99 can be added on top depending on your market.
- NFL+ is the cheapest way to reach all five games, but live local and prime time games still play only on phones and tablets. NFL+ Premium at $14.99 adds NFL RedZone and full replays that do work on a TV.
- Paramount+ Essential at $8.99 includes NFL games airing on CBS. Only the Premium tier at $13.99 adds a live local CBS channel.
- YouTube TV carries CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN and NFL Network on the base plan. NFL Network was dropped from the cheaper Sports Plan in June 2026, and RedZone still requires the Sports Plus add on.
- Peacock Premium covers every NBC NFL game. The cheaper Select tier does not include live sports, so Premium is the one you need. Discounted student and military plans are available.
- Outside the United States, NFL Game Pass International carries the full holiday slate.
How to Watch Thanksgiving Football for Free

- Free trials: YouTube TV runs 21 days, Hulu + Live TV 3 days and Amazon Prime 30 days. Paramount+ retired its standard free trial in early 2026.
- Set a cancel reminder the day you start a trial so it does not roll into a paid month.
