NFL fans want easy ways to watch games without cable. Sling TV is one of the most affordable streaming options for the 2025–26 season.
It carries ESPN, FOX, NBC, NFL Network, and even NFL RedZone with an add-on. These channels cover Monday Night Football, Sunday Night Football, and preseason matchups.
Some games are not on Sling, like CBS or Thursday Night Football, but you can still cover most of the season with the right plan.
This guide explains Sling TV prices, plans, channels and how to stream the NFL this year.

Sling TV Price & Plans (2025)
Sling TV keeps its plans simple and flexible. You can choose from Sling Orange, Sling Blue, Sling Orange + Blue, or the new Sling Select plan. Each has different channels and pricing.

- Sling Blue also costs about $45.99 per month. It includes FOX, NBC, NFL Network, and entertainment channels like Bravo and SYFY. This plan lets you stream on three devices at once.
- Sling Orange + Blue is $60.99 per month. It combines both channel lineups and gives access to ESPN, FOX, NBC, and NFL Network in one plan. You also get four streams at the same time.
- Sling Select is the budget option starting at $20 per month. It includes NFL Network, FS1, Fox News, and more. In some markets, it also carries local ABC, FOX, and NBC.
Sling offers a free version called Freestream. It has 600+ ad-supported channels and thousands of on-demand titles. It is good for casual viewing but does not include live NFL games.

Sling TV NFL Channel List
Sling TV carries the main networks that show NFL games. The channels you get depend on the plan you choose. Here are the most important ones for football fans:
- ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3 – All Monday Night Football games. ManningCast on ESPN2 is also included.
- FOX – NFC Sunday games and some playoff matchups. Available in select markets with Sling Blue.
- NBC – Sunday Night Football and Super Bowl LX in 2026. Also available in select markets with Sling Blue.
- NFL Network – Preseason games, international series, and weekly NFL shows. Included in Sling Blue and Sling Select.
- NFL RedZone – Live whip-around coverage on Sunday afternoons. Available only with the Sports Extra add-on.
These channels cover most of the regular season, playoffs, and international games. The only gap is CBS, which carries many AFC games and some playoff matchups. To get those, you need Paramount+.

---|---|---|
ESPN/ESPN2/3 | Monday Night Football | Sling Orange |
FOX | Sunday NFC games, Playoffs (select markets) | Sling Blue |
NBC | Sunday Night Football, Playoffs, Super Bowl LX | Sling Blue |

Does Sling TV Offer NFL Playoffs & Super Bowl?
Sling TV gives access to many playoff games but not all of them. The coverage depends on which networks hold the rights.
- ESPN and ABC playoff games are included with Sling Orange. This covers Wild Card and Divisional matchups.
- FOX playoff games are available with Sling Blue in markets that carry local FOX.
- NBC playoff games are also on Sling Blue where NBC is available. This includes Sunday Night Football and Super Bowl LX in 2026.
- NFL Network sometimes shows a Wild Card game. Sling Blue carries this channel.
The only missing piece is CBS. Sling does not have CBS in any plan. Many AFC playoff games, including some Wild Card and Divisional matchups, air there. To watch them, you need a Paramount+ subscription.
For the Super Bowl in 2026, NBC has the broadcast. Sling Blue will show it if you live in a market with NBC. If not, you can stream it directly on Peacock.
Does Sling TV Have NFL Sunday Ticket?
Sling TV does not carry NFL Sunday Ticket. This package is now exclusive to YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channels. It is the only way to watch every out-of-market Sunday afternoon game.
Sling does cover a large part of the season with ESPN, FOX, NBC, NFL Network, and NFL RedZone. For many fans, this covers primetime games, local matchups, and highlights. But for those who want every game, especially out-of-market AFC contests, YouTube is the only option.
A smart setup for full coverage is to use Sling for most NFL action, Paramount+ for CBS games, Prime Video for Thursday Night Football, and YouTube for Sunday Ticket. This way you can follow every matchup during the season.
Sling TV Free Trial & Flexible Passes
Sling does not have a standard free trial anymore. New customers often get half off their first month instead. This discount is the most common promo during football season.
Sling has a free option called Freestream. It gives access to hundreds of live channels and thousands of shows and movies. Freestream does not include live NFL games but is useful for testing the platform.
Sling also launched Flexible Passes in 2025. These short-term plans let you pay for only the time you want.
- Day Pass costs about $4.99
- Weekend Pass costs about $9.99
- Week Pass costs about $14.99
There are also seasonal prepaid deals. You can pay ahead for five months of Sling Orange or Blue at $199, or Orange + Blue for $274. These offers are popular with sports fans who want coverage through the NFL season without paying month to month.
Devices & Streaming Options
Sling TV works on most popular devices. You can stream games on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, smart TVs, Xbox, mobile phones tablets and web browsers. The app is simple to use and updates often during live sports.
Every plan comes with 50 hours of cloud DVR. You can upgrade to unlimited DVR for $5 per month. Recordings stay saved for up to nine months.
Streaming limits depend on the plan you choose. Sling Orange allows one stream at a time. Sling Blue gives three streams. Orange + Blue lets you watch on four devices at once. This is useful for families or fans who want to follow different games at the same time.
How to Watch Every NFL Game (Filling Sling’s Gaps)
Sling TV covers a big part of the NFL season, but it does not carry every game. To watch the full schedule, you need to combine Sling with a few other services.
- Start with Sling Orange + Blue + Sports Extra. This gives you ESPN, FOX, NBC in select markets, NFL Network, and NFL RedZone. You can follow Monday Night Football, Sunday Night Football, preseason games and most Sunday NFC games.
- Add Paramount+ to get CBS. This covers AFC Sunday games and key playoff matchups.
- Add Amazon Prime Video for Thursday Night Football. All Thursday games are exclusive to Prime.
- Add YouTube TV or YouTube Primetime Channels for NFL Sunday Ticket. This is the only way to watch every out-of-market Sunday afternoon game.
With this setup, you can stream every NFL game during the 2025–26 season. Sling gives the core channels at a lower cost, and the other apps fill in the missing pieces.
