The season opens on a Wednesday for the first time since 2012. The Melbourne game kicks off at 10:35 AM local time on Friday and streams on every Netflix plan. Fifteen of the 16 games are on free over the air channels, so a digital antenna covers everything except the Netflix game.
How to Run a Week 1 Pick’em Pool
- Set the deadline. Picks lock at the first kickoff, Wednesday, September 9 at 8:20 PM ET. That is a day earlier than a normal week, so remind everyone.
- Share the sheet. Send the PDF by email or group chat, or print a stack for the office. Each player fills in a name and 16 picks.
- Use the tiebreaker. Every player writes the total points they expect in Broncos at Chiefs on Monday Night Football. Closest guess wins if two players tie on correct picks.
- Score it Monday night. One point per correct winner. Fill the Total Correct box and compare.
