Season Guide

The Philadelphia Eagles play three games in twelve days over Christmas. Indianapolis on Sunday December 13, Seattle on Saturday December 19, Houston on Thursday December 24. Two of those three fall on days the NFL does not normally use, and all three are at home.

The live panels on this page are fed by the league’s own data, so scores, standings, the roster and statistical leaders update themselves. What is written below stays put for the season: that December stretch, the full fixture list, a new play caller, and where the rest of the unusual dates land.

Philadelphia Eagles 2026 season card in midnight green listing 17 games, nine home dates at Lincoln Financial Field, the Week 10 bye and five prime time games

Three Games in Twelve Days at Christmas

The Saturday fixture is the one that catches the eye. Week 15 against Seattle kicks at 5:00 PM ET on a Saturday, which the league only does in the closing weeks once the college season has cleared out of the way.

Five days later comes Christmas Eve, a Thursday night against Houston on Prime Video. Between them is the ordinary Sunday against Indianapolis. Three home crowds inside a fortnight is unusual, and it means the last third of the season is played almost entirely in Philadelphia.

Then it flips. The season closes with two road games, at San Francisco on Sunday night in Week 17 and at the Giants in Week 18 on a date the league has yet to fix.

Week 18 is the single undated row. The league sets that once Week 17 has finished, and flexible scheduling can lift a Sunday afternoon fixture into a night window before then.

Sirianni’s Sixth Year and a New Play Caller

Nick Sirianni begins a sixth season in charge. Philadelphia went 11-6 last year and won the NFC East, then lost 23-19 to San Francisco in the wild card round, which is a short way to describe a season that was good enough to win a division and not good enough to survive January.

The response was to change the offense rather than the defense. Sean Mannion takes over as offensive coordinator in place of Kevin Patullo, while Vic Fangio stays where he is. Jalen Hurts remains the quarterback, with Andy Dalton, Tanner McKee and Cole Payton behind him.

San Francisco reappears in Week 17, at Levi’s Stadium on a Sunday night, which gives the fixture list a neat symmetry it did not plan.

Lincoln Financial Field, London and Thanksgiving

Home is Lincoln Financial Field in south Philadelphia, an open air ground holding 67,594. Nine of the seventeen games are played there, one more than most clubs receive, and none of them is given away to a neutral venue.

The travel that does happen is spread wide. Week 5 is a 9:30 AM kickoff at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London against Jacksonville, with the Jaguars as designated hosts. Week 12 is Thanksgiving afternoon in Dallas, and Week 13 follows in Arizona a week and a half later.

Five games are in prime time, in Weeks 3, 7, 8, 16 and 17, and two of those are at home. Division standings are tracked live on the NFL standings page, and the roster panel above mirrors the active 53 as the league records it.

Sean Mannion is the new offensive coordinator, replacing Kevin Patullo. Vic Fangio continues as defensive coordinator, so the change this offseason was on the offensive side only.

Which division are the Philadelphia Eagles in?

The NFC East, with the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants and Washington Commanders. Six of the seventeen games are division fixtures, one home and one away against each rival.

How did the Philadelphia Eagles finish the 2025 season?

Philadelphia went 11-6 and won the NFC East, then lost 23-19 to the San Francisco 49ers in the wild card round. The two clubs meet again in Week 17 of this season.

Who is the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback?

Lincoln Financial Field in south Philadelphia, an open air stadium with a capacity of 67,594. It has been the club’s home since 2003.

How many home games do the Philadelphia Eagles have in 2026?

Nine, one more than most clubs are given, and all nine are at Lincoln Financial Field. The remaining eight games are on the road.

Why do the Eagles play on a Saturday in 2026?

Week 15 against Seattle kicks off at 5:00 PM ET on Saturday, December 19. The NFL adds Saturday fixtures in the closing weeks of the season, once the college football calendar has cleared.

The Philadelphia Eagles defend a division title with the same head coach, the same quarterback and a new voice calling the offense. Nine home dates at Lincoln Financial Field, a morning in London, Thanksgiving in Dallas and three home games inside twelve December days.
