One date stays open. Week 18 against the Detroit Lions falls on Saturday, January 9 or Sunday, January 10, 2027, and the league sets it only after Week 17. Sunday afternoon kickoffs can also move under flexible scheduling, so treat the 1:00 PM and 4:25 PM slots as provisional until game week.

In Wisconsin a digital antenna covers 13 of the 17 games: eight on FOX, two on NBC, one on CBS and both Thursday home games, which get a free local simulcast alongside Prime Video. The Week 17 Monday night game needs ESPN, the two Netflix dates need a subscription, and Week 18 is unassigned.
Flexible scheduling can still move things. Sunday night is eligible from Week 5, Monday night from Week 12 and Thursday night from Week 13. The Week 15 home game against Miami is the most obvious candidate for a December move.

Thanksgiving Eve, Wednesday, November 25 at SoFi Stadium against the Los Angeles Rams, 8:00 PM ET. Both clubs come in rested, because the league gave Green Bay and the Rams the same Week 11 bye to set up this midweek date. A Wednesday night NFL game is rare, and this is the only one on the 2026 calendar.
Christmas Day, Friday, December 25 at Soldier Field against the Chicago Bears, 1:00 PM ET. These two clubs have met 212 times, more than any pairing in NFL history, and Green Bay leads the series 109-96-6. It is also the Packers’ only December division game.
Neither game shows up on FOX, CBS, NBC or a Wisconsin station. The free local simulcast rule only covers the two participating markets, and Green Bay is the visitor both times, so watching from home means Netflix.
When is the Packers Bye Week in 2026?
Week 11, the weekend of November 22. Ten games come before the break and seven after it, so the heavier half of the season sits on the near side.
Week 11 is the busiest bye of the year, with six clubs off: the Packers, Rams, Falcons, Browns, Patriots and Seahawks. Byes run from Week 5 through Week 14 in 2026, with none in Week 12 when every team plays during Thanksgiving week.

Packers 2026 Roster, Coaching Staff and Injuries
Green Bay starts the season without three of its best known names.
- Micah Parsons is on the reserve PUP list after tearing his ACL on December 14, 2025. He must miss at least the first four games. The earliest he can play is Week 5 against Chicago on October 11, and he has pointed at Week 6 against Dallas as the realistic target. A 2026 bylaw change lets PUP players start practising after the club’s second game, so he can be on the field in Week 3 without counting against the roster.
- Tucker Kraft is active and expected to start at tight end. He tore his ACL in November 2025, came off the PUP list on July 31 ahead of the usual nine month timeline and sat out the preseason as a precaution. Also unavailable to open the year: DL Jordon Riley and TE Luke Musgrave on reserve PUP, plus WR Savion Williams and EDGE Collin Oliver on injured reserve with a designation to return.
- Josh Jacobs is not available. He opens the season on the Commissioner’s Exempt List, which means MarShawn Lloyd takes the Week 1 carries with Chris Brooks and Kaleb Johnson behind him.
- Jordan Love is healthy and starting. He is coming off his best year: 291 of 439 for 3,381 yards, 23 touchdowns, six interceptions and a 101.2 rating. In the wild card loss he threw for 323 yards and four touchdowns with no picks, joining Bart Starr and Aaron Rodgers as the only Packers to do that in a playoff game.
- Matt LaFleur enters his eighth season after signing an extension in January alongside general manager Brian Gutekunst. Jonathan Gannon runs the defence after three years as head coach in Arizona, replacing Jeff Hafley, who left for the Miami head job. Adam Stenavich stays on offence and Cam Achord takes special teams.
- The receiving group carries the offence early. Matthew Golden enters year two, with Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed and Christian Watson around him. On defence, Rashan Gary was traded to Dallas in March and Javon Hargrave, Benjamin St-Juste and an extended Devonte Wyatt hold the line until Parsons returns.
