NFL Week 4 Picks 2026: Game-by-Game Predictions & Winners

NFL Week 4 picks 2026 cover all 16 games, from Steelers at Browns on Thursday night to Falcons at Saints on Monday. Every game gets a straight up winner, the injury news that matters and a short reason why.

Week 4 is the last full slate before byes begin, and it opens Sunday with a 9:30 a.m. ET kickoff in London. Backup quarterbacks are again the story. Tampa Bay turns to an undrafted rookie, Chicago rides Case Keenum, Washington waits on Jayden Daniels and the Giants play on without Jaxson Dart.

Five teams are still unbeaten in the NFL standings: the Chiefs, Bills, 49ers, Vikings and Raiders. Injury news is current through Tuesday, September 29 reports.

Thursday Night Football Pick

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns, 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video

Both teams are 2 and 1. Pittsburgh finally found its offense in a 30 to 27 win over Cincinnati. Jaylen Warren ran for 127 yards at 7.5 a carry, Aaron Rodgers hit two deep touchdown passes and the defense forced a Joe Burrow fumble in the final minute. Cornerback Jalen Ramsey has a broken wrist and practiced in a cast, and Rico Dowdle (toe) did not practice.

Cleveland rallied past Carolina 21 to 18 on a late Deshaun Watson touchdown pass, and the defense has been the best part of the team. The worry is up front: guard Elgton Jenkins is in the concussion protocol and receiver Tylan Wallace (knee) did not practice. On a short week, home field and a defense that holds up late make the difference.

Sunday, October 4: London Game Pick (9:30 a.m. ET)

Indianapolis Colts at Washington Commanders, 9:30 a.m. ET on NFL Network, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London

Washington is the designated home team. Marcus Mariota threw three touchdowns in a 33 to 31 upset of Seattle, and linebacker Kain Medrano won it with a pick six. Jayden Daniels (dislocated left elbow) is traveling to London and practicing this week, but he is not confirmed to start, and Mariota is in line again. Linebacker Leo Chenal had neck surgery and is out.

Indianapolis beat Houston 19 to 17 on a 53 yard Spencer Shrader field goal with under 20 seconds left. Shrader is 8 for 8 on field goals, but Daniel Jones turned the ball over three times and Alec Pierce is on injured reserve. Washington forced three takeaways last week and has the steadier quarterback play right now.

Sunday, October 4: Early Game Picks (1:00 p.m. ET)

Tennessee Titans at Baltimore Ravens (CBS)

Baltimore beat Dallas 34 to 31 in Rio de Janeiro, with Lamar Jackson’s 27 yard throw to Zay Flowers setting up the winning score. The Ravens lost guard Jovaughn Gwyn (ankle) and center Ethan Pocic (knee), and rookie receiver Ja’Kobi Lane is on injured reserve with a fractured wrist.

Tennessee is 0 and 3 after Cam Ward threw an interception from the 7 yard line in the final 30 seconds of a 12 to 7 loss to the Giants. Offensive linemen Fernando Carmona (ankle) and Jackson Slater (foot) are hurt. This is the easiest call on the board.

Pick: Ravens

New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills (CBS)

Buffalo is 3 and 0 after a 24 to 16 win over the Chargers, even with five giveaways. James Cook ran for 154 yards, and Josh Allen made the plays when it mattered.

New England lost 35 to 6 in Jacksonville. Drake Maye threw two interceptions, one from the 2 yard line, and lost a fumble, and Mike Vrabel called his concern level very high. A.J. Brown (high ankle sprain) cannot return before Week 6. Orchard Park is a hard place to fix all of that.

Pick: Bills

New York Jets at Chicago Bears (FOX)

Case Keenum, 38 and on his eighth team, threw two touchdowns in a 27 to 7 win over Philadelphia, and the defense forced three turnovers. Caleb Williams has a Grade 2 hamstring strain and is week to week, and Ben Johnson has not named his starter. Either way, the Bears showed they can win without him.

The Jets came back from two touchdowns down in Detroit before losing 31 to 24. Geno Smith threw for 321 yards and three scores. Breece Hall (quad) and tight end Mason Taylor (thumb) are week to week, and Omar Cooper is on injured reserve.

Pick: Bears

Jacksonville Jaguars at Cincinnati Bengals (CBS)

Jacksonville is 2 and 1 and rolled New England 35 to 6. Travis Hunter picked off his first career pass and the defense forced three turnovers.

Cincinnati is also 2 and 1 but let Pittsburgh score 30, and Joe Burrow fumbled away the chance to win in the final minute. Andrei Iosivas is on injured reserve. The Jaguars are playing the better all around football, so we take them on the road.

Pick: Jaguars

Dallas Cowboys at Houston Texans (FOX)

Dallas is 1 and 2 after losing 34 to 31 to Baltimore in Rio. The Cowboys drove to the Ravens’ 2 yard line in the final seconds and did not score. Dak Prescott and the offense are moving the ball, and that travels.

Houston is 0 and 3 and scored 17 points in a loss to the Colts. Nico Collins (Grade 1 hamstring) has missed two games, and DeMeco Ryans is only hopeful he returns. Tank Dell is on injured reserve and Jayden Higgins tore his ACL. The Texans cannot run the ball or sustain drives right now.

Pick: Cowboys

Arizona Cardinals at New York Giants (CBS)

The Giants are 2 and 1 after a 12 to 7 win in heavy rain, with Dominic Zvada kicking four field goals. But they lost pass rusher Brian Burns to a torn ACL, Jaxson Dart is out for the regular season and the team traded for J.J. McCarthy this week. Jameis Winston started in Week 3.

Arizona is 1 and 2 but scored 30 points in San Francisco and kept fighting until the end of a 36 to 30 loss. With the Giants losing their best pass rusher and still sorting out quarterback, this is our upset.

Pick: Cardinals

Los Angeles Rams at Philadelphia Eagles (FOX)

Philadelphia was beaten 27 to 7 in Chicago. Jalen Hurts threw an interception in the end zone and the defense allowed 375 yards. Dallas Goedert (MCL sprain) will miss multiple weeks and Eli Stowers is on injured reserve.

The Rams led Denver 16 to 0 at halftime, gained 482 yards and still lost 30 to 26. Sean McVay is hopeful Puka Nacua (groin) returns, while tight end Terrance Ferguson (ankle) is likely out and Myles Garrett is on injured reserve. The Eagles at home after a bad loss is the call.

Pick: Eagles

Green Bay Packers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (FOX)

Baker Mayfield dislocated his right thumb and will miss at least three weeks. Undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels from Kansas makes his first start. It is the first time in four years Tampa Bay starts someone other than Mayfield. The Bucs are 0 and 3, Minnesota sacked Mayfield six times and Jalen McMillan is on injured reserve.

Green Bay is 1 and 2 after a 35 to 14 loss to Atlanta that Matt LaFleur called a humbling night. Josh Jacobs remains on the commissioner exempt list and Jayden Reed is out with a neck injury. The Packers have problems, but a rookie quarterback on his first start is a bigger one.

Pick: Packers

Sunday, October 4: Late Game Picks (4:05 and 4:25 p.m. ET)

Miami Dolphins at Minnesota Vikings, 4:05 p.m. ET (FOX)

Minnesota is 3 and 0. The defense sacked Baker Mayfield six times in a 23 to 16 win, with Kyle Van Noy getting three, and a punt return touchdown decided it. Justin Jefferson has an ankle sprain but is not expected to miss long and could play. Tight end Josh Oliver tore his biceps.

Miami is 0 and 3 and lost De’Von Achane to a torn ACL for the season. Jaylen Wright (foot) is questionable, so the run game is thin. The Dolphins move the ball between the 20s but cannot finish drives.

Pick: Vikings

Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders, 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS)

Two unbeaten teams. Patrick Mahomes completed 20 of 24 passes in a 24 to 10 win over Miami, and Kenneth Walker III has given the Chiefs a steady run game.

Las Vegas is 3 and 0 after a 35 to 27 win in New Orleans. Brock Bowers caught 10 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown, and Kirk Cousins is playing well. Receiver Jack Bech broke his forearm. The Raiders are for real, but Mahomes has been sharp and the Chiefs have more ways to win a close one.

Pick: Chiefs

Los Angeles Chargers at Seattle Seahawks, 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS)

Seattle lost 33 to 31 in Washington as Sam Darnold threw two interceptions, one returned for a touchdown. Safety Julian Love (calf) is day to day. Even so, the Seahawks are 2 and 1 and very tough at home.

The Chargers are 0 and 3. They forced three turnovers in the first half in Buffalo and then fell apart after halftime. David Njoku is on injured reserve and Justin Herbert has struggled with accuracy.

Pick: Seahawks

Denver Broncos at San Francisco 49ers, 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS)

San Francisco is 3 and 0 and ranked first in the NFL.com Week 4 power rankings. Kyle Shanahan called an 82 yard hook and ladder touchdown on third and 12 in a 36 to 30 win over Arizona. Mike Evans (rib) is day to day, Ricky Pearsall is out for the season and Demarcus Robinson has a high ankle sprain.

Denver came back from 16 to 0 down to beat the Rams 30 to 26, with Talanoa Hufanga returning an interception for a touchdown and sealing it with another. Rookie Jonah Coleman is on injured reserve. The Broncos defense is good enough to keep this close, but the 49ers offense is playing at another level.

Pick: 49ers

Sunday Night Football Pick

Detroit Lions at Carolina Panthers, 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock

Jahmyr Gibbs had 164 yards and three touchdowns in a 31 to 24 win over the Jets. Jared Goff has 802 passing yards, eight touchdowns and no interceptions through three games, and Amon-Ra St. Brown has five touchdown catches. Detroit is missing safety Kerby Joseph and cornerback Avonte Maddox.

Carolina is 1 and 2 after losing 21 to 18 in Cleveland. Safety Jaycee Horn has a significant quad injury and is headed to injured reserve, Mike Jackson (groin) is out and Jalen Coker (quad) is questionable. Goff against a banged up secondary is the edge.

Pick: Lions

Monday Night Football Pick

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints, 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN

Atlanta has had 11 days to prepare since routing Green Bay 35 to 14 on Thursday night, with Michael Penix Jr. and Bijan Robinson leading the way. Both teams are 1 and 2.

Tyler Shough threw a career high four touchdown passes against Las Vegas, but he also had four turnovers in the fourth quarter of a 35 to 27 loss. Travis Etienne Jr. (hamstring) will miss time and receiver Jordyn Tyson is on injured reserve. The Falcons have the better run game and the extra rest.
