NFL Week 6 Picks 2026: Game-by-Game Predictions & Winners
NFL Week 6 picks 2026 cover all 14 games, from Seahawks at Broncos on Thursday night to Commanders at 49ers on Monday. Every game gets a straight up winner, the injury news that matters and a short reason why.
Four teams are on bye this week: the Bengals, Lions, Dolphins and Vikings. Jacksonville stays in London for a second straight week and hosts Houston at Wembley Stadium at 9:30 a.m. ET. Quarterback health is still the story, with Lamar Jackson, Caleb Williams, Michael Penix Jr. and Baker Mayfield all in question.
The 49ers and Vikings are 5 and 0, and the Chiefs are 4 and 0 after their bye. We went 10 and 4 with one tie in Week 5, and our season record is 51 and 27 with one tie. Records and injury news below are current through Tuesday, October 13.

Thursday Night Football Pick
Seattle Seahawks at Denver Broncos, 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video
Seattle, the defending champion, is 3 and 2 after a 32 to 29 overtime loss to San Francisco. Sam Darnold threw two interceptions and was sacked five times, and he has five interceptions in his last three games. The Seahawks have turned the ball over nine times since Week 2 and went 3 of 12 on third down against the 49ers.
Denver is 3 and 2 after a 23 to 17 win over the Chargers. The defense sacked Justin Herbert five times and forced three turnovers, and Bo Nix completed 16 of 27 passes for 224 yards. Both teams wear throwback uniforms. A short week, the altitude and Seattle’s turnover habit tip this one to the home team.
Pick: Broncos
Sunday, October 18: London Game Pick (9:30 a.m. ET)
Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars, 9:30 a.m. ET on NFL Network, Wembley Stadium, London
Jacksonville is 4 and 1 after a 19 to 17 win over Philadelphia, when Cam Little hit a 57 yard field goal as time expired. The Jaguars stayed in London and are the home team again. They have only three turnovers and eight takeaways this season, though they also committed 13 penalties last week.
Houston is 1 and 4 after its first win, 26 to 3 over Tennessee. C.J. Stroud went 26 of 34 for 260 yards and still has not thrown an interception this season, and Will Anderson Jr. had three sacks. The Texans also traded for Marvin Harrison Jr. Jacksonville is settled in London and playing cleaner football.
Pick: Jaguars
Sunday, October 18: Early Game Picks (1:00 p.m. ET)
Chicago Bears at Atlanta Falcons (FOX)
Chicago is 3 and 2 after a 31 to 7 loss in Green Bay with five turnovers. Tyson Bagent threw two interceptions and was replaced by Case Keenum. The good news: NFL Network reports Caleb Williams (hamstring) could return this week after missing three games.
Atlanta is 2 and 3 after a 30 to 23 overtime loss to Baltimore. Michael Penix Jr. left with a rib injury after a late hit and needed imaging, and Tua Tagovailoa threw the interception that ended the game. If Williams plays, the Bears have the clearer edge at quarterback.
Pick: Bears
Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns (FOX)
Baltimore is 4 and 1 and leads the AFC North after a 30 to 23 overtime win in Atlanta. Tyler Huntley started for Lamar Jackson (ankle), and the Ravens ran 35 times for 208 yards. Derrick Henry had 102 yards, a touchdown catch and a late two point conversion. The team is hopeful Jackson returns this week.
Cleveland is 3 and 2 after a 17 to 12 loss to the Jets. Deshaun Watson was sacked eight times and the offense managed just 198 yards, and running back Quinshon Judkins left in a walking boot. The Browns defense keeps games close, but the Ravens run game travels.
Pick: Ravens
Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts (FOX)
Tennessee is 0 and 5 after a 26 to 3 loss to Houston. Cam Ward went 23 of 36 for 170 yards with an interception and was sacked four times. The Titans have not scored more than 20 points in a game this season.
Indianapolis is 2 and 3 after a 34 to 22 loss in Pittsburgh, where Jonathan Taylor was held to 45 yards on 15 carries. Receiver Alec Pierce is out. Even so, the Colts at home are the clear pick against a winless offense.
Pick: Colts
New Orleans Saints at New York Giants (FOX)
New Orleans is 1 and 4 and has lost three straight. The Saints managed only 142 yards in a 23 to 13 loss to Minnesota, and Tyler Shough threw two interceptions. Travis Etienne Jr. is on injured reserve.
The Giants are 3 and 1 and 1 after a 27 to 27 overtime tie in Washington. Jameis Winston led a second half comeback and Isaiah Likely caught 11 passes for 94 yards and two touchdowns, but Cam Skattebo has fumbled four times in five games. New York leads the NFC East and should handle a struggling offense at home.
Pick: Giants
New York Jets at New England Patriots (CBS)
The Jets are 2 and 3 after a 17 to 12 win over Cleveland. Rookie David Bailey had three sacks as the defense took down Deshaun Watson eight times, and Braelon Allen scored the go ahead touchdown.
New England is 3 and 2 after a 45 to 17 rout of Las Vegas. Drake Maye threw four touchdown passes and ran for another with no turnovers, and he has seven touchdown passes over his last two games. TreVeyon Henderson (ankle) left early and is one to watch. Maye at home is the pick.
Pick: Patriots
Carolina Panthers at Philadelphia Eagles (CBS)
Carolina is 2 and 2 and leads the NFC South after its bye. The Panthers last beat Detroit 32 to 26, when Tetairoa McMillan caught 14 passes for 192 yards and two touchdowns, and Jaelan Phillips, Damien Lewis and Jalen Coker are expected back.
Philadelphia is 2 and 3 after a 19 to 17 loss in London and rushed for just 22 yards. Saquon Barkley and DeVonta Smith (both hamstring) are hurt, two offensive line starters are out and Lane Johnson has retired. This is our upset pick: a rested Panthers team against a banged up Eagles roster.
Pick: Panthers
Pittsburgh Steelers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (CBS)
Pittsburgh is 3 and 2 after a 34 to 22 win over Indianapolis. Aaron Rodgers passed Peyton Manning for third on the all time touchdown pass list, and Jaylen Warren had 188 yards from scrimmage, an 80 yard touchdown catch and a 50 yard touchdown run.
Tampa Bay is 1 and 4 after snapping its losing streak 24 to 16 in Dallas. Bucky Irving ran for 165 yards and two touchdowns, and undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels completed 76 percent of his passes in place of Baker Mayfield (thumb). Rodgers and the Steelers have more ways to score.
Pick: Steelers
Sunday, October 18: Late Game Picks (4:05 and 4:25 p.m. ET)
Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams, 4:05 p.m. ET (FOX)
Arizona is 1 and 4 after a 45 to 21 loss in Detroit and has lost four straight. The Cardinals traded Marvin Harrison Jr. to Houston, and Trey McBride is the main target left.
The Rams are 2 and 3 after a 37 to 34 overtime loss to Buffalo on Monday night. Los Angeles gained 454 yards but hurt itself with 11 penalties, a missed field goal and a blocked kick. Myles Garrett is out after knee surgery. The Rams are the better team on a short week at home.
Pick: Rams
Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs, 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS)
The Chargers are 0 and 5 and have lost eight straight games. Justin Herbert was sacked five times in Denver, and Joe Alt, Rashawn Slater, Quentin Johnston and Derwin James Jr. all missed that game. Tre’ Harris also left with a hamstring injury.
Kansas City is 4 and 0 and comes off its bye with a healthy Patrick Mahomes. Undrafted rookie Kahlil Benson is starting at left tackle and Tyquan Thornton is on injured reserve. Rest and health make this the safest pick of the late window.
Pick: Chiefs
Buffalo Bills at Las Vegas Raiders, 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS)
Buffalo is 4 and 1 after a 37 to 34 overtime win over the Rams on Monday night. Josh Allen threw for 210 yards and ran for 121, but the Bills committed 13 penalties and allowed 454 yards. DJ Moore (shoulder) was inactive.
Las Vegas is 3 and 2 after a 45 to 17 loss in New England with only 38 rushing yards. Rookie Fernando Mendoza made his debut late, Jack Bech went on injured reserve and Jalen Nailor is in the concussion protocol. Allen stays on the West Coast and should have enough.
Pick: Bills
Sunday Night Football Pick
Dallas Cowboys at Green Bay Packers, 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock
Dallas is 2 and 3 after a 24 to 16 loss to Tampa Bay on Thursday, so it has extra rest. The defense allowed 419 yards and ranks last in total defense. CeeDee Lamb (quad) had just two catches for nine yards but is expected to play, and George Pickens caught nine passes for 130 yards.
Green Bay is 3 and 2 after a 31 to 7 win over Chicago. Jordan Love threw for 367 yards and two touchdowns, Christian Watson caught six passes for 143 yards and two scores, and the defense forced five takeaways. Josh Jacobs remains on the commissioner exempt list. Love at Lambeau against the worst defense in the league is the pick.
Pick: Packers
Monday Night Football Pick
Washington Commanders at San Francisco 49ers, 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN and ABC
Washington is 1 and 3 and 1 after blowing a 14 point fourth quarter lead and tying the Giants 27 to 27. Jayden Daniels, in his first game back from a dislocated elbow, ran for 109 yards and two touchdowns, but the Commanders let the clock run out on their final overtime play.
San Francisco is 5 and 0 after a 32 to 29 overtime win in Seattle. Brock Purdy led a 95 yard touchdown drive, and Mike Evans had seven catches for 113 yards while playing through a rib injury. Deebo Samuel Sr. (hamstring) is the one to watch. The unbeaten 49ers at home are the pick.
Pick: 49ers
