Washington Commanders Schedule 2026: Printable PDF, Times, TV Channels
The Washington Commanders schedule 2026 opens with two road games inside the division. Washington visits the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, September 13 at 4:25 PM ET on FOX, then the Dallas Cowboys a week later in the same late afternoon window.
One fixture reshapes the home calendar. Washington is the designated home team for the Week 4 meeting with the Indianapolis Colts in London, so only eight of its nine home games are played at Northwest Stadium.
Three weeks are still unfixed. Weeks 16, 17 and 18 carry a date window rather than a kickoff, and none of the three has a network yet.
Every kickoff time and channel is below, plus a free printable schedule and a wall calendar, both sized for US Letter paper.

| 18 | Jan 9 or 10 | vs Dallas Cowboys | TBD | TBD |
Opening at Philadelphia and Dallas back to back is unusual. Both NFC East road trips that shape the early standings arrive before the home crowd sees a snap, and Washington does not host a division rival until the Giants visit in Week 5.
The last three weeks carry windows instead of kickoffs. Week 16 at Minnesota lands on the weekend after Christmas, Week 17 at Jacksonville on the first weekend of January, and Week 18 against Dallas is placed only after Week 17 ends. The league holds those slots back so it can move the biggest matchups into the best windows.
Flexible scheduling can move the rest. Under the 2026 rules a Commanders Sunday afternoon game can be lifted into Sunday night from Week 5, Monday night from Week 12 and Thursday night from Week 13, so treat the 1:00 PM slots as provisional until game week.

Commanders Preseason Schedule 2026
Washington opens the 2026 NFL preseason at home against Miami on a Friday night, then plays two road games in a row.
| Game | Date | Opponent | Time (ET) | TV |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Fri, Aug 14 | vs Miami Dolphins | 7:00 PM | WUSA9 |
| 2 | Sat, Aug 22 | at Detroit Lions | 12:00 PM | WUSA9 |
| 3 | Fri, Aug 28 | at Baltimore Ravens | 6:00 PM | WUSA9 |
All three games are local broadcasts on WUSA9. None is on the NFL’s list of nationally televised preseason games, so viewers outside the DC market will need a local stream. BIG 100.3 FM has the radio call.
The Ravens trip on August 28 is a 40 mile drive up the Baltimore-Washington Parkway and the closest thing the region gets to a preseason rivalry date.
What Channel Are Commanders Games On in 2026?
FOX dominates with seven games. CBS has two, and one game each falls to NBC, ESPN, ESPN with ABC, Prime Video and NFL Network. Three weeks are still open.
| Network | Games | Weeks |
|---|---|---|
| FOX | 7 | 1, 2, 3, 5, 9, 12, 15 |
| CBS | 2 | 13, 14 |
| NBC | 1 | 8 |
| ESPN | 1 | 11 |
| ESPN / ABC | 1 | 6 |
| Prime Video | 1 | 10 |
| NFL Network | 1 | 4 |
| TBD | 3 | 16, 17, 18 |
Three things to know:
- Four prime time games, split evenly. Two are at Northwest Stadium: Philadelphia on Sunday Night Football on NBC in Week 8, and Cincinnati on Monday Night Football on ESPN in Week 11. Two are on the road: San Francisco on Monday night in Week 6 on ESPN and ABC, and the Giants on Thursday Night Football on Prime Video in Week 10.
- The earliest kickoff is the London game. Week 4 starts at 9:30 AM ET, the only NFL Network broadcast of the Commanders regular season. Set an alarm rather than assuming it is a normal Sunday.
- Spanish language calls cover both Monday games. ESPN Deportes carries Week 6 at San Francisco and Universo simulcasts the Week 8 Sunday night game against Philadelphia.
Nine of the 14 assigned games are on FOX or CBS, so a digital antenna picks up most of the local slate at no cost. BIG 100.3 FM is the flagship radio station across the DC, Maryland and Virginia region, and out of market viewers can add Sunday afternoon games through NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube.
Commanders Kickoff Times in Every Time Zone
Northwest Stadium sits in the Eastern zone, so the schedule table is already local for anyone in the DMV. This grid is for everyone else.
| Eastern (Landover) | Central | Mountain | Pacific |
|---|---|---|---|
| 9:30 AM (London) | 8:30 AM | 7:30 AM | 6:30 AM |
| 1:00 PM | 12:00 PM | 11:00 AM | 10:00 AM |
| 4:25 PM | 3:25 PM | 2:25 PM | 1:25 PM |
| 8:15 PM | 7:15 PM | 6:15 PM | 5:15 PM |
| 8:20 PM | 7:20 PM | 6:20 PM | 5:20 PM |
Five of the eight road games leave the Eastern zone. Dallas, Tennessee and Minnesota are short hops into Central time, Arizona is Mountain, and San Francisco is the only Pacific trip. London is the real outlier at 2:30 PM local, which is breakfast in Landover.
Arizona is the exception. The state skips daylight saving time, so the Mountain column runs an hour late for anyone in Phoenix or Tucson through Week 7. Subtract three hours from Eastern instead of two until daylight saving ends on Sunday, November 1, 2026. Washington’s own trip to State Farm Stadium falls on November 29, after the clocks change, so that 4:25 PM ET kickoff really is 2:25 PM in Phoenix.

Commanders 2026 Wall Calendar Printable (PDF)
A month grid suits fridge doors better than a list. This version runs August through December 2026, with Northwest Stadium dates filled in burgundy, road dates outlined in gold, and every square carrying the opponent and the kickoff time.
November is the page worth pinning up. Five game days land in 30 days, including Philadelphia under the lights on the 1st, a Thursday night at the Giants on the 12th and Cincinnati on Monday the 23rd. The empty weekend of October 25 is the bye. Also US Letter, also free.

Printing tip: choose “Actual size” or “100%” rather than “Fit to page” so the small type stays sharp.
Commanders in London: Week 4 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Sunday, October 4 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, 9:30 AM ET on NFL Network, a 2:30 PM kickoff in London. It is Washington’s second straight international game and Dan Quinn’s second as head coach.
The designation matters more than it looks. Washington is the home team, so the game counts as one of its nine home dates even though it is played about 3,600 miles away. That is why Northwest Stadium hosts eight regular season games this year rather than nine, and eight is the number to work from when budgeting for season tickets.
Last year’s trip abroad did not end well. Washington lost 16-13 in overtime to the Miami Dolphins at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on November 16, 2025, the first NFL game ever played in Spain. This one lands six weeks earlier in the calendar and has no bye behind it: Washington flies home and hosts the New York Giants six days later, then travels to San Francisco for a Monday night game before the Week 7 break.
When is the Commanders Bye Week in 2026?
Week 7, the weekend of October 25. Only six clubs are off earlier, two in Week 5 and four in Week 6, and Washington shares Week 7 with Buffalo, Jacksonville and the Chargers.
Washington plays six games before the break and 11 after it. The upside is recovery from London and the San Francisco road game that follows. The cost is an 11 game run to the finish with no scheduled rest, covering all four December dates and the three unfixed weeks. Compare every club on our NFL bye weeks page.
Commanders 2026 Coaching Staff and Key Players
Washington rebuilt both sides of the staff after a 5-12 season that followed a 12-5 year and an NFC Championship Game run. Owner Josh Harris kept head coach Dan Quinn and general manager Adam Peters, then let both coordinators go.
- Dan Quinn enters his third season. Hired as the 31st head coach in franchise history on February 3, 2024, he went 12-5 in year one, then fell to 5-12 in a season shaped by injuries and a 2-5 record in one score games.
- David Blough is the new offensive coordinator. Kliff Kingsbury was let go on January 6 and Blough was promoted days later from assistant quarterbacks coach, a job he took in February 2024 after his playing career. He had never called plays at any level.
- Daronte Jones runs the defense, hired on January 26 from Minnesota where he coached defensive backs and the pass game under Brian Flores. He replaces Joe Whitt Jr. Both coordinators are calling plays at this level for the first time.
- Jayden Daniels is the starting quarterback in his third season, healthy after missing 10 games in 2025. Marcus Mariota backs him up again. Blough plans to use Daniels under center more often and lean on play action.
- The receiver room got a headline addition. Stefon Diggs signed a one year deal in August, a Maryland native coming off 1,013 yards for New England’s Super Bowl LX team. Terry McLaurin returns for an eighth season after a quad injury held him to career lows of 582 yards and three touchdowns, and Dyami Brown, Van Jefferson and Treylon Burks joined on one year deals.
- The offensive line took a late hit. Left tackle Laremy Tunsil tore a triceps in practice on August 8 and is expected to miss most or all of the season, with Brandon Coleman sliding out to protect Daniels’ blind side. Linebacker Sonny Styles, taken seventh overall out of Ohio State, is the headline rookie.
Northwest Stadium and the Move Back to DC
Northwest Stadium in Landover opened in 1997 and now seats about 64,000 after years of upper deck removals, down from a peak of 91,000. It is on the clock.
The DC Council gave final approval by an 11-2 vote on September 17, 2025 to a new roofed stadium on the RFK campus. HKS is the architect, capacity runs to roughly 70,000 with about 65,000 fixed seats plus standing room, and the cost is put near $3.8 billion, though some accounts of the approved deal cite $3.7 billion. Site work started in 2026 after the old RFK Stadium came down, vertical construction is expected in spring 2027, and the building is slated to open for the 2030 season.
That timeline leaves Northwest Stadium a handful of seasons. The eight home dates on this schedule are part of a countdown, and the Week 18 finale against Dallas is the kind of date that fills the building regardless of the standings.
How to Get Washington Commanders Tickets
Home tickets run through the official Commanders ticket page. SeatGeek is the club’s official primary and resale partner, so season tickets, single game seats, parking and verified resale all route through it. StubHub and Vivid Seats are third party marketplaces rather than team affiliated options, and Ticketmaster handles most road games.
With only eight dates in Landover the home calendar is tight. Philadelphia on Sunday night in Week 8, Dallas in the Week 18 finale and the Giants in Week 5 move first, while the Seattle home opener on September 27 is usually the cheapest way into an early season Sunday. The London game is sold separately through the NFL international series and On Location travel packages, not the Commanders home ticket system.
