Week 18 against the Philadelphia Eagles is the only undated game. It lands on Saturday, January 9 or Sunday, January 10, 2027, and the league sets it after Week 17. Sunday afternoon kickoffs from Week 5 on can also shift under flexible scheduling, so treat the 1:00 PM slots as provisional until game week.
The shape of the year is easy to read. Seven games come before the bye, the middle stretch is mostly home football, and the last six weeks are brutal: San Francisco, Seattle, Cleveland, Detroit, Dallas and Philadelphia.

- One streaming only game. Week 10 against Washington on Thursday night needs Prime Video. Thursday games still carry a free local simulcast in the two markets involved. There is no Netflix or Peacock exclusive this year.
- Both opening night games are free to air. Week 1 is on NBC and Week 2 at the Rams is on ABC as well as ESPN. Neither needs cable.
- Only one game can be flexed. Week 16 at Detroit sits inside the Monday night flex window. Week 1 and Week 10 fall outside the flexible weeks entirely.
WFAN 660 AM and 101.9 FM is the flagship radio home with Bob Papa on play by play. When a Giants game clashes with a Yankees broadcast the call moves to 101.9 FM only. Eleven of the 17 games kick at 1:00 PM ET, so most Giants Sundays start at the same hour. Only four road trips leave the Eastern zone. Two Legacy Games bring back the classic helmet at midfield and vintage block letter end zones: Arizona on October 4 and San Francisco on December 6. The October 4 game also honours the 1986 championship team at halftime, 40 years on from the club’s first Super Bowl title.
The Vintage White uniform comes out twice in five days, at Philadelphia on November 8 and against Washington on November 12. Philadelphia wears Kelly Green for that Week 9 meeting.
When is the Giants Bye Week in 2026?
Week 8, the weekend of November 1. Seven games come before the break and ten after, so the heavier half sits on the far side of it. Byes run from Week 5 to Week 14 this season, and ten teams are off before New York. The Texans, Saints and 49ers share the Week 8 date.

Two things carried over from August. The offensive line won PFF’s unit of the week after Miami, with rookie sixth round tackle J.C. Davis playing all 81 snaps at left tackle and allowing no pressures. And the kicking job went to undrafted rookie Dominic Zvada, who made every attempt including a 53 yarder against the Jets.
The Harbaugh Era Opens Against Familiar Faces
John Harbaugh was hired on January 20, 2026, after 18 seasons in Baltimore and a Super Bowl XLVII title. The Giants had fired Brian Daboll on November 10, the day after blowing a 10 point lead at Chicago. Daboll left at 20-40-1. Tight end Isaiah Likely, fullback Patrick Ricard, punter Jordan Stout and safety Ar’Darius Washington all followed Harbaugh from Baltimore, as did special teams coordinator Chris Horton.
The schedule then serves up reunions. Week 3 brings Daboll back to MetLife as offensive coordinator of the Tennessee Titans, under head coach Robert Saleh, who spent four seasons in the same building with the Jets. Tennessee also signed former Giants Wan’Dale Robinson, Cor’Dale Flott and Daniel Bellinger.
That game is Jaxson Dart against Cam Ward for the first time, the first two quarterbacks taken in the 2025 draft. Week 14 adds one more layer. Seattle head coach Mike Macdonald worked for Harbaugh in Baltimore, and the Seahawks are the reigning Super Bowl champions.

The 53 man roster tells you what kind of offence this is. The Giants kept five receivers, four running backs, a fullback and four tight ends. Heavy personnel is the plan.
- Staff. Harbaugh leads a deep offensive room. Matt Nagy coordinates after four seasons in Kansas City, as quarterbacks coach for the Super Bowl LVII win and coordinator for LVIII. Cam Skattebo, Tyrone Tracy Jr. and Najee Harris share the backfield. Isaiah Likely and Theo Johnson headline the tight ends. Calvin Austin III is on injured reserve with a torn ACL.
- Defence. Abdul Carter, Brian Burns and Kayvon Thibodeaux rush the edge, with DJ Reader and Shelby Harris inside. Reader faces his old Detroit team in Week 16. Rookie linebacker Arvell Reese, taken fifth overall, is already a Defensive Rookie of the Year pick in some previews. Paulson Adebo, Greg Newsome II, Jevon Holland and Tyler Nubin hold the secondary.
- The Lawrence trade shaped the roster. Dexter Lawrence was dealt to Cincinnati in April for the tenth overall pick, which became guard Francis Mauigoa. Left tackle Andrew Thomas anchors the line in front of him.
