Weeks 16 and 18 still carry no date. The league assigns the Christmas week window in season and sets Week 18 only after Week 17 finishes, which can push the Baltimore finale to Saturday, January 9, 2027. Sunday afternoon kickoffs from Week 5 on can also move under flexible scheduling.
The division games fall in pairs. Pittsburgh meets the Cleveland Browns in Weeks 4 and 8, the Cincinnati Bengals in Weeks 3 and 10, and the Baltimore Ravens in Weeks 15 and 18.

The club is building the opener into a full Kickoff Week from September 7 to 12. All six Super Bowl rings built for the 2026 NFL Draft go back on display outside Acrisure Stadium, and a 24 foot mural painted by fans at six neighbourhood stops is unveiled before kickoff.
How the preseason went: Pittsburgh finished 1-2. They beat Green Bay 28-9 on August 13, were shut out 17-0 by the Jets on August 21, then lost 28-27 at Buffalo on August 27 to a late touchdown and two point conversion.

- Black Friday needs no subscription. Prime Video streams the November 27 home game against Denver free worldwide, no Amazon Prime membership required. It kicks at 3:00 PM ET, the only mid afternoon start on the calendar.
- The October 1 game at Cleveland does need one. That is a standard Thursday Night Football stream, with a free over the air simulcast only inside the Pittsburgh and Cleveland markets.
- Four games are true prime time, at 8:15 or 8:20 PM ET: Weeks 4, 10, 13 and 14. Only Week 13 against Houston is at home.

Fifteen of the 17 games sit on Eastern time. Only two leave the zone: January 3 at Tennessee, which is Central, and Paris. Denver, Houston and Indianapolis all travel to Acrisure Stadium, so Pittsburgh never plays a Mountain or Pacific opponent this season.
Arizona viewers, one exception. Arizona skips daylight saving time. Through Week 7, subtract three hours from Eastern instead of two. Daylight saving ends on Sunday, November 1, 2026, and the Mountain column is correct from Week 8 onward.

Steelers in Paris: Week 7 at Stade de France
Pittsburgh faces the New Orleans Saints at Stade de France in Saint-Denis on Sunday, October 25 at 9:30 AM ET, 2:30 PM in Paris. It is the first regular season game the NFL has staged in France. Coverage is on NFL Network plus a local simulcast in the Pittsburgh market, though the station has not been named.
New Orleans is the designated home team, so this counts as one of Pittsburgh’s nine road dates and costs the club no gate at Acrisure Stadium. Note the five hour gap rather than the usual six: Europe puts its clocks back that morning while the United States waits another week.
It is a second straight European season after the Steelers hosted Minnesota at Croke Park in Dublin on September 28, 2025. The AFC North travels widely again in 2026, with Baltimore meeting Dallas in Rio de Janeiro on September 27 and Cincinnati facing Atlanta in Madrid on November 8. Cleveland is the only club in the division staying home. The Saints lead the all-time series 9-8 and the teams have never met in the postseason.

Steelers 2026 Roster and Coaching Staff
Mike McCarthy is the 17th head coach in franchise history and only the fourth the Steelers have hired since 1969, after Chuck Noll, Bill Cowher and Mike Tomlin. Tomlin stepped down on January 13, 2026 at 193-114-2 with 19 straight non losing seasons.
Brian Angelichio runs the offense, Patrick Graham calls the defense from the booth, and Danny Crossman takes special teams. Omar Khan stays as general manager in his fifth year.
What changed on the roster in late August:
- Two trades on cut down day. Offensive tackle Broderick Jones, the 14th pick in 2023, went to Dallas. Running back Kaleb Johnson went to Green Bay after one season.
- Four quarterbacks made the 53. Aaron Rodgers starts, with Mason Rudolph, Will Howard and third round rookie Drew Allar behind him.
- Both corners are back. Jalen Ramsey came off the physically unable to perform list on August 24 and Joey Porter Jr. on August 30.
- Safety DeShon Elliott is on injured reserve with a return designation, so he misses at least the first four games. Defensive tackle Keeanu Benton signed a five year extension on August 15.
The core is still the defense: T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith on the edge, Cameron Heyward inside, Patrick Queen and Payton Wilson at linebacker. DK Metcalf is the main target, Jaylen Warren carries the run game and Chris Boswell kicks. The franchise holds six Super Bowl titles, tied with New England for the most.

This is the 26th season at Acrisure Stadium, which seats 68,400. The field switched to Tahoma 31 Bermudagrass this offseason, and a phased seat replacement of 58,719 seats runs through the offseasons, so game day capacity is unchanged.
