When Does NFL Week 1 Start in 2025?
The season starts on Thursday, September 4. It begins with a classic NFC East battle. The Philadelphia Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field. Kickoff is set for 8:20 PM ET, and the game will air on NBC. This game sets the tone for the season.
Chiefs vs Chargers in Brazil
There’s a twist this year. The NFL is playing a Week 1 game outside the U.S.
On Friday, September 5, the Kansas City Chiefs will play the Los Angeles Chargers in São Paulo, Brazil. This match is part of the league’s plan to expand internationally.
