2026-27 NFL Games on Amazon Prime Video: Full Schedule

Amazon is now in its fifth season as the home of Thursday Night Football, and the 2026 slate is the deepest yet. NFL games on Amazon Prime run from a late August preseason opener through an exclusive Wild Card playoff game in January 2027, with 15 Thursday night matchups, a Black Friday afternoon kickoff and a Christmas Eve game in between.

Amazon Prime Video streams 15 regular season Thursday Night Football games beginning in Week 2, plus one preseason game, Black Friday Football and an exclusive Wild Card playoff game. Every Thursday game kicks off at 8:15 PM ET, with the TNF Tonight pregame show starting at 7:00 PM ET.

Two points that trip people up. Prime Video has no Week 1 game and no international games this season. And in Week 12 there is no Thursday game on Prime at all: Thanksgiving night belongs to NBC and Thanksgiving Eve belongs to Netflix, so Amazon’s only Week 12 game is the Friday afternoon kickoff.

Under NFL flexible scheduling rules, up to two Thursday games between Weeks 13 and 17 can be swapped with about 21 days of notice. Nothing has been flexed so far, so the earliest any change would surface is mid November.

How to Watch NFL Games on Amazon Prime

You need an active Amazon Prime membership. There is no extra fee for football and no cable login is required.

• Local broadcast TV: every Thursday game airs free over the air in the home markets of both competing teams, so an antenna is enough if your team is playing.
• Twitch: each game is simulcast live and free to watch.
• NFL+: phone and tablet viewing only, at $6.99 a month or $49.99 a year.
• Spanish audio: Miguel Gurwitz and Rolando Cantú call every game on a Spanish language stream inside Prime Video.

Prime Video streams Thursday Night Football in 1080p HDR rather than 4K, so a standard membership already gets you the best available picture quality.

Amazon Prime Plans and Cost in 2026

• Prime monthly: $14.99 a month
• Prime annual: $139 a year, which works out to about $11.58 a month
• Prime for Young Adults: $7.49 a month or $69 a year for ages 18 to 24 and verified students, with a 6 month free trial
• Prime Access: $6.99 a month with qualifying government assistance such as SNAP, Medicaid, WIC or SSI
• Free trial: 30 days for eligible new members

Amazon sells Prime Video on its own for $8.99 a month, but it documents Thursday Night Football as a Prime membership benefit, so a full Prime plan is the reliable route for football.

Amazon also launched a Prime Video Ultra add-on in April 2026 at $4.99 a month or $45.99 a year for ad free viewing and 4K titles. You do not need it for football. Amazon states that live sports may still include ads on Ultra, and TNF is not offered in 4K, so it adds nothing for NFL viewers.

Broadcast Team and Prime Vision

Al Michaels returns on play by play with Kirk Herbstreit as analyst and Kaylee Hartung on the sideline. Charissa Thompson hosts TNF Tonight alongside Tony Gonzalez, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Andrew Whitworth and Richard Sherman, with Taylor Rooks on features and Ian Rapoport reporting as NFL insider.

Prime Vision with Next Gen Stats also returns for every Thursday game. It is a separate feed you select in the Prime Video app, layering real time player tracking and Prime Insights, a set of AI powered graphics built on Amazon models, over the live picture.

Black Friday, Christmas Eve and the Wild Card Game

  Friday, November 27 at 3:00 PM ET from Acrisure Stadium. It is the first Black Friday game for both franchises, and Pittsburgh’s first Friday game since 1946.

  Thursday, December 24 at 8:15 PM ET. Prime Video does not carry a game on Christmas Day itself, which belongs to Netflix and Fox in 2026.
